Kale Chips

Kale chips are my to go snack at the moment because they are healthy, easy to throw together, and actually fill me up! Plus, this nutritious snack has plenty of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Protein so it’s perfect for an afternoon snack to boost your brain power! Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  •  1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • Coconut Oil Spray or Avocado Oil Spray
  • 2 Bunches of Kale

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Wash and dry the Kale.

Rip the kale into bite size pieces — add kale into baking dish in layers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With the first layer of kale down, sprinkle garlic powder and black pepper over the kale.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then using the spray evenly coat the kale with the oil.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then repeat this process for each layer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Place the baking pan into the oven for 5 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove and toss the kale so it evenly bakes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Place the baking pan back into the oven for 5 minutes.

Remove and toss the kale again.

Place the kale back into the oven for 5 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Toss once more and place back into the oven for 5 minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove and serve!
